Creating Tomorrow College opens new Rugby campus

We’re excited to announce the opening of our newest campus in Rugby, marking an exciting milestone as we continue to grow and develop our specialist further education provision across the Midlands.

Our Rugby Campus has been developed in partnership with Iron Mountain and will provide opportunities for young people aged 18–25 with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) across Rugby and the surrounding area.

The campus brings our specialist, employability-focused approach to Warwickshire, giving more young people the opportunity to develop their skills, build confidence and work towards greater independence and sustainable employment.

Our Rugby Campus joins our existing campuses in Wellingborough, Daventry, Lutterworth and Kettering, and we’re looking forward to becoming part of the Rugby community.

A campus built around real-world experience

The campus is located within Iron Mountain’s Rugby site, giving our learners the opportunity to combine their college-based learning with hands-on experience in a real working environment.

Through our employability-focused programmes, learners can develop practical workplace skills, explore different roles and gain experience of workplace routines, expectations and relationships.

This builds on our existing partnership with Iron Mountain, which began in 2024 and has already created valuable opportunities for learners at our Lutterworth and Kettering campuses.

Why Rugby?

We know that choosing what comes after school can be a big decision for young people and their families.

At our Rugby Campus, we provide a specialist environment where learners can develop their skills, build confidence and gain experience that supports their individual aspirations for the future.

With employability at the heart of what we do, our learners have opportunities to develop skills both within college and through real-world experiences with employers and the wider community.

We want our learners to feel confident about their future, discover what they’re capable of and take meaningful steps towards employment and greater independence.

Celebrating our Rugby opening

We were delighted to officially celebrate the opening of our Rugby Campus alongside employers, schools, local authorities and community partners.

The opening event was a wonderful opportunity to bring together the people who will help make our Rugby community thrive and celebrate this exciting next stage in our journey.

Guests heard from current and former learners about their experiences, before having the opportunity to tour our new campus and selected areas of the Iron Mountain site.

It was a fantastic day filled with conversations, connections and a real sense of excitement about what the future holds for our Rugby learners.
