Supported Internships

A Supported Internship is a one-year, workplace-based programme for learners who are ready to move into paid employment.

Interns spend five days a week in a real job role, supported by a specialist Job Coach and a trained workplace mentor. Learners are treated as employees and supported to meet real workplace expectations.

Our Model

  • Full-time placement within a chosen sector
  • Education delivered on site
  • Functional skills continued where needed
  • Job Coach support that gradually fades away as independence grows

Placements are carefully matched to learner aspirations and local labour market opportunities. The outcome is clear and intentional: paid, sustainable employment.
